The business has outgrown it present office space, and has therefore decided to expand into a larger office suite.
The move to our bigger office suite has been finally completed, everything has now been set-up and it's looking really good.
The benefit's of moving offices has meant that we can now take larger numbers on all of our training courses, without the need to overspill into the attached conference rooms. We also have a larger area for the First Aid practical assessments, as well as a dedicated print and refreshment area. (Free lunch on all full day courses) Having a direct entrance to the fron of the building was also the main reason for the move.
The new facia signs for the front of the office have been ordered, and should be ready early next week.
All contact details, regarding our address and phone number's remain exactly the same as we are still in the same building.
The HSE has announced that as of midnight on the 5th April 2013, it will no longer be resonsible for the approval and monitoring of HSE Approved training organisations in the UK.
Following an amendment of the Regulations, there will be no such thing as a HSE Approved qualification, or a HSE Approved first aid training organisation.
Instead, employers will be responsible for the selection of training providers that offer training that meets the regulations!!
Employers will still need to satisfy their Assessment of First Aid needs and provide suitably qualified First Aid personnel who have been trained to a suitable standard.
"Employers should note that qualifications obtained from Awarding Body Organisations will help compliance with the Regulations, are accredited, nationally recognised and are rated on the Qualification and Credit Framework and the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework" HSE November 2012.
